What is it?
The camp is located in a unique spot on the river Alva in the beautiful nature of central Portugal. Based on the authorization it may house 170 guests. In high season those numbers are regularly reached but also then the atmosphere of a rural campsite still remains. The total area of the property is almost 1.9 hectares of which about 1.2 hectares are reserved for camping.
The site has a variety of accommodations such as camping with a tent, caravan / camper, rental tents (glamping) or stay in a wooden cabin (3 x 2-6 persons) and apartments (3 x 1-4 persons).
For campers, there are two, just renovated, sanitary facilities (men and women) and two older sanitary facilities (men and women).
On the site are a bar, cafe and billiard room, also frequented by locals. Next to the bar are a kitchen, office / shop and various technical and storage areas. In wetter and colder times the camping guests can use the large community room with a fireplace. The site has a paved court and a simple children’s playground. The river is suitable for swimming and the camping has also a built up pool (6 x 6).
Besides housing for guests, there is also a simple house for the owner or staff on site. The surface of the living area is approximately 85 m2, consisting of a living room, dining room, kitchen, two modest bedrooms and a bathroom with shower. The total registered construction area is 665 m². The site is sold including equipment.
What about the facilities?
The site has its own water supply from a drilled well with good quality water. There is electricity on the whole site. The site is connected to the municipal sewer system. Wifi is available the front part of the campsite.The house has central heating and air conditioning (in the dining room). The living room of the house is insulated.
The campsite existed for over 30 years and has proved its right to exist. It is known by many people as a good camping in this area. People who seek the beauty and tranquility of nature, are well served. Hiking (many hiking trails in the area) and cycling (for trained cyclists), swimming or canoeing, or fine dining are all within easy reach. Even winter skiing is an option, only 40 km away. The village has three good local restaurants, a hotel, a school and a small supermarket. Along with the other eateries in the area it is even possible to make a gastronomic holiday. In summer several nice beaches are open at the nearby river.
For people with serious interest the current owners can show it is a healthy company, by providing a transparent accounting and visitor figures.

Where is it?
The campsite is at the foot of the Serra de Açor and near the Serra da Estrela in the village of Ponte de Três Entradas. The accessibility is good via a paved road. In this village are some small amenities. Avô is slightly larger with more amenities, and is 4 km away. In the provincial town of Oliveira do Hospital, about 15 km, are all major facilities such as restaurants, shops, supermarkets, post office, banks, medical clinic, small hospital, schools, library and weekly market. The larger cities Coimbra and Viseu are within an hour’s drive.
