What is it?
This detached house was built in the late 90’s. The house has a living area of approximately 189 m² on the first floor, including verandas. The layout of the house consists of an entrance hall, a living room, 3 bedrooms of which one en suite, a shared bathroom and a spacious kitchen. The kitchen, the living room and two of the bedrooms have a veranda. All bedrooms have a built-in closet. A fixed staircase leads to the attic floor. The attic is not yet furnished, so this space can get any desired function. On the ground floor, also accessible via a fixed internal staircase, is a large kitchen, a garage, storage and hobby rooms and a bathroom. This floor is about the same size as the living floor.
How about the facilities?
The house has cavity walls. The windows are made of single glass and have shutters. The central heating is on wood with the possibility to connect to gas. On the ground floor is a fireplace with built-in cassette and in the kitchen on the first floor is a wood stove. Electricity is troughout the house. The house is supplied with water from its own well but connection to tap water is possible. Drainage is via the municipal sewer system.
Any outdoor space?
The house is situated on a plot of approximately 1100 m² with some fruit trees (orange, lemon, kiwi) and ornamental plants. The garden is walled. Part of the soil is hardened and the rest is grass.
Where is it?
The house is located on a paved road, in the village of Póvoa de Midões, which is part of the municipality of Tábua. The village has a few cafes and two grocery shops. Tábua is about 7 km away. In this small province town all important facilities are present, such as restaurants, shops, supermarkets, post office, banks, medical practice, schools, library and weekly market. The larger city of Coimbra is about 60 km away.
