Côja is about 7 kilometers away. This lively village has various facilities such as shops, bakery, bank, post office, restaurants, ambulance post and a river beach. Tábua, Oliveira do Hospital and Arganil are about 17 km away. In these small provincial towns, all important facilities are present such as restaurants, shops, supermarkets, post office, banks, doctors’ practice, schools, library and weekly market. The larger cities of Coimbra and Viseu are approximately 75 km and 65 km away respectively.
