This detached house dates from the 1980s and has been renovated in recent years into a contemporary and comfortable house, consisting of two floors, each of which can be used as an independent living unit. On the ground floor are a hall with a guest toilet, a spacious fitted kitchen, a living room, a bedroom en suite and a white goods room/utility room. The first floor can be reached via a fixed internal staircase, as well an external staircase. At this floor you will find an equipped kitchen, a dining room, a living room with balcony, three bedrooms and a bathroom. The attic (no headroom) is accessible via a folding staircase. The registered ground area is 201 m².
There are several outbuildings including a shed, an outdoor kitchen, a covered terrace and a storage room for garden equipment, as well as carport next to the house. These outbuildings are not registered.

What are the facilities like?
During the renovation, the house is equipped with aluminum windows with double glazing. All but two windows have shutters. Most walls are cavity walls with insulation. The house is therefore very easy to get warm (and to keep it cool). The rooms have electric heating and on both floors is a wood-burning stove. Three geysers supply the needed hot water. The house is connected to the mains. A private well is used for irrigation, but the house can also be connected to it. Discharge is via the public sewer system and one shower drain is still on a septic tank. Internet is obtained via satellite and fiber optic runs in the street.

Is there outdoor space?
The house is situated on a flat plot of approximately 1,000 m² and is south facing. The garden around the house is paved, the remaing part are an ornamental garden and a vegetable garden. The garden has a rich variety of fruit trees including orange, lemon, apple, pear, cherry, apricot and fig.
The plot is fenced and walled and has an irrigation system in essential areas.

Both the house and garden offer beautiful panoramic views of the mountains of the Açor and the town of Tábua, creating an interesting combination of a rural atmosphere and the proximity of a town.

Where is it?
This house is located on the edge of the village of Torre, on a quiet village road just outside Tábua. Tábua is a small provincial town where all major facilities are available, such as restaurants, shops, supermarkets (900 m.), post office, banks, medical practice, schools, library, bus station (900 m.) and weekly market. The larger city of Coimbra is about 55 km away.
