What is it?
This house is in a rural area under the smoke of Oliveira do Hospital. The house dates from the 70s and has not changed much since then. The living area is approximately 64 m² consisting of a corridor in the middle with adjoining to it two bedrooms, a sitting room, a kitchen and a bathroom. There is also a fixed staircase to an attic. Under the house are two storage rooms. The house is habitable but does not meet the living requirements of today. At the entrance of the quinta is a large barn (not registered).
How about the facilities like?
The house has been connected to the electricity grid. It has a private water well and for drainage a septic tank is used.
The house and the barn are on a plot of approximately 5,000 m². The plot consists largely of spacious terraces on which various olive trees grow.
Where is it?
The house and the land are just outside the village of Lagos da Beira. The accessibility is reasonably good via a well-maintained sandy path of approximately 600 meters. The area is planned to be opened up even better in the future with the construction of the IC6 (about 400 m away), which will connect Oliveira do Hospital with Coimbra. Lagos da Beira is an authentic historic village with a relatively high heritage. There are some small amenities in the village. Oliveira do Hospital is approximately 3 km away. In this small provincial town all important facilities are present such as shops, supermarkets, post office, banks, medical practice, small hospital, schools, library, restaurants and weekly market. The larger city of Coimbra is around 70 km away.
