Bigger cities are Tábua and Oliveira do Hospital, about 10 km away. In the central towns are all major facilities such as restaurants, shops, supermarkets, post office, banks, medical clinic, hospital (Oliveira do Hospital), schools, library, bus station and weekly market. The larger city Coimbra is about 65 km away.
