What is it?
This is a terraced quinta with a ruin of a barn consisting of two floors. The ruin is almost entirely made of granite. The quinta is south facing and therefore has plenty of sun.
What about the facilities?
The quinta has water rights from a nearby water tank. The water from the tank runs along the terrain. Electricity is at approximately 160 meters. A septic tank will have to be made for disposal.
The quinta consists of a plot of land of more than 2 ha (registered 0,9 ha). It has largely been agricultural land, as witnessed by the terrace walls and the vegetation. Because of a forest fire in 2017, part of the plantation has been burned, but the olive trees are sprouting again and an orange tree has survived. Another part of the land is more forest land and is therefore a good source for your own timber supply.
Where is it?
This quinta is located just outside the village of Lobão de Beira, in a beautiful area at the foot of the Caramulo mountain range. The accessibility is good via a paved road. The last 100 meters are a well-maintained sandy path. The Caramulo mountanis have great opportunities for walking, paragliding and there is a golf course about 15 km away.
Tondela is approximately 5 km away. Most of the important facilities are present in this small town, such as restaurants, shops, supermarkets, post office, banks, medical practice, small hospital, schools, vocational education, swimming pool, tennis courts, library, theater and a weekly market. The larger city Viseu is around 20 km away.
