What is it?
This used to be one of the main residential houses in the village, but it fell into disrepair a few years ago. The old granite stones are ready to be reused in building a house with modern standards and with the possibility to integrate old elements. The house and the outbuilding have a total construction area of 356 m². The house consisted of three floors.

How are the facilities?
Next to the house is a granite water tank with crystal clear water that constantly flows from the mountains into this tank, summer and winter. This water can probably be used as drinking water, but there is no analysis data. The rest of the soil can be irrigated with this by gravity. Electricity used to be present in the house and a septic tank will have to be installed for sewage.

What about the outdoor space?
The house is situated on a beautiful paradise plot of approximately 1,900 m², full of fruit trees including orange, tangerine, lemon, avocado, apple, pear, fig, cherry and persimmon. The land is mostly agricultural land.

Specifics?
From the ground and from the house are beautiful wide views to the Serra da Estrela in the south. On the plot is a microclimate so that citrus fruits and, for example, also an avocado do well.
For people who would like to start a B&B: the current owners sell another property in this village, also for restoration.

Where is it?
The house is located in the village of Figueiral. The accessibility is good via a paved road. The village of Figueiral itself has no facilities, but the village of Campo de Besteiro is 3 km away. Here are various facilities available on a small scale, such as cafes, shops, a bank and a restaurant. The town of Tondela is about 10 km away. This is a provincial town with most facilities such as supermarkets, schools, small hospital and first aid, theater, library, weekly market and vocational education. The capital of the province (Viseu) is 30 km away. The Caramulo is a beautiful nature reserve where various walks have been plotted. The Montebelo golf course is approximately 20 km away.
