What is it?
This well-kept house has a robust granite base where, it is said, the bread used to be baked for the neighbourhood. Now it is a comfortable home where old is combined with new. In the old part is the kitchen (with induction plate) with a large original fireplace and a bathroom (shower). A spacious living room is reached through a corridor with an inbuilt closet, with doors opening onto the covered terrace. Any outside space?
The house is on a plot of approximately 1.5 hectares. The plot consists of beautiful flat terraces with granite walls. An ornamental garden with fruit trees surrounds the house. The rest of the plot is agricultural land on which olive trees grow, among other things.

Where is it?
The quinta is just outside the village of Vilela and is easily accessible via a paved road. Vilela is an authentic atmospheric village. There are no facilities except for a café and a bakery that comes by every day. The village of Galizes is about 3 km away and has various facilities such as a café, grocery, pharmacy and post office. There is also a bus stop for the express bus to Coimbra, Porto and Lisbon and there are several restaurants, including an Indian restaurant.
Oliveira do Hospital and Tábua are approximately 10 km away. These are small provincial towns where the most important facilities are present such as shops, post office, banks, small hospital (Oliveira do Hospital), schools and weekly market. The larger cities of Coimbra and Viseu are 60 km and 50 km respectively.
